Lilypie Third Birthday tickers

Here's the Story...

I'm working on my first novel, and hoping to make it into a series of books based in the North Country of New York. I moved up here in September 2005 and I am making it my home with my family.

The main points of my blog is to journal my journey through the process of creating my family. I live with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, a disorder which can cause issues with fertility, obesity, and insulin resistance. If that weren't enough, I also have a bicornuate uterus. In laments terms, this means my uterus is shaped like a heart, instead of a pear like in normal people. Even with these issues, I have been lucky enough to have my son. However, he was born early and with some minor birth defects. Despite all this, my husband and I are trying again for our second and last child.

Through all this, I have a wild cast of characters who live in my world, and here and there my blog entries will be interjected with them and the fun of the day/week, etc.

-The Bald Man: My husband, who is wonderful, even though he can be a pain in the butt when he's in pain. He's disabled, and working his way through school.
-BoogerHead: my brother. The Bald Man and I have been raising him for almost eight years now, and while he's legally of age, he still lives with us.
-Monkey Child: My wonderful inquisitive son, who is exploring his world and into everything at the moment.
-SuperGammy: My mother in law, who is a great mother in law. Monkey Child loves his Gammy time.
-Recovering Dad (RD): My dad, a recovering polysubstance abuser. We're working on rebuilding a relationship long distance.
-Psycho Mom (PM): My mom, who deals with multiple mental illnesses.
-Mad Cow: My bestest friend. We've been friends for almost as long as I've been married to Bald Man. She was my mentor in the world of being a military wife, and we've been through a lot together.
-Baking Queen: My newer friend up here. She's also an ex-military wife dealing with a disabled vet husband, and she's fun to hang out with. Turns out we have a lot in common.
I'm often known as Fluffy or Sissy, or the Ethel to Mad Cow's Lucy.

So enjoy!
